so much like stars
filling the dark trees

its reason for being was nothing more

Climbing the narrow steep steps up to this Pyramid is an experience. Its scorching hot weather and with its high humidity, you will be sweating hard ahead of yourself!
After all the effort, you’ll be feeling on top of the world with spectacular view all around you. They say …. There used to be an altar on the top and was said to have built to honor a deity.

It was 98F and driving towards Rapid City along highway 22~ we decided to check out this little town that has some sort of a vintage character.

Walking tour in Rio was a pretty good idea to do! This place is so amazing to visit and there is so much to see, its a much needed place to visit! You can see churches in every corner, I mean they are 18th Century churches with wonderful designs and structures. You can even have a chance to see the old gold plated church in Rio!
The area is huge but the area has thousands of visitors daily

On the trail, Some of the sulphuric springs have dried up during our visit. The temperature was about 90F. Good to see this place again after the last visit 7 years ago.

Its always cloudy whenever we visit this place. There is always a crowd but each time we have a chance to be here or just passing though, this place stays majestic. Good to see these enormous sculptures again.
This is an eye catcher on the freeway, was curious what the sculpture was all about. Well this a kind of hobby to someone with a talent and a collection of scrap metals and the love of wildlife.
On the same highway stretch, I thought the drive was beyond beautiful to my mind as the sky was just as blue and white clouds in contrast.

The tiny-teeny town of Medora is a gateway to this quiet and isolated park. This park is the least visited of all and is of course a tribute to the 26th President who was also a Conservationist. When we arrived and drove around Medora, we instantly felt “at leisure” as there was no traffc lights, cars were moving kinda slow. Looking around, we saw this ☑️ an amazing ride!
Its a Cowboy Hall of Fame too!

A small vibrant town, this place can sometimes be a hectic place to be with the cost of accommodation skyrockets from May to October. By its name, it is the gateway to the Yellowstone National Park and Mammoth Hot springs.
With our destination city still about 4 hours away, we decided to stop by for our picnic lunch at the city park here. Just after lunch, the weather changed, it drizzled with a cloudy sky but did not last long. We then continued our trip directly to Billings and that was nine hours drive total. Such a long and tiring day!

A much needed outing to our local and national parks after a couple months of limited movement. So glad to be able to take sometimes off from work and headed to this wonderful place of pure nature and its breathtaking views … the golden leaves of autumn!
Downtown Banff ~ the gateway to Banff National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. While in Banff, visitors have other parks to explore — Glacier, Jasper, Yoho, Waterton Lakes and Mount Revelstoke. These parks are totally amazing places!

A visit to the Athabasca Glacier is a “must” when you are in the area of the Columbia Icefield in the Canadian Rockies. Located on on the opposite side of the Interpretative Center, they provide a standard tourist bus to the glacier start point and then board a special snow coach bus up the deep glacier and you will not regret it! Beautiful snow covered field all the way up . (May 2016)
Inspiration by Walt Whitman ~ Not I, not any one else can travel that road for you,
You must travel it for yourself.
It is not far, it is within reach,
Perhaps you have been on it since you were born and did not know,
Perhaps it is everywhere on water and on land

Still unsure but no travel plans yet! Still pondering but given the current situation on the Corona Virus and its impact that affected the minds of travelers, its a tough decision. It won’t be until this crisis has completely halted but still, the world needs to recover.
March is finally here! Its officially Springtime! Buds are out, random tiny flowers are starting to show up. Weather is getting warmer. Seeing the sunshine makes my day!
